1. Senior Rigger Course for back parachute certification

• Requirements:
  • Be at least 18 years of age at time of test certification
  • Able to read and understand english
  • Registered with the FAA online at https://iacra.faa.gov/IACRA/default.aspx prior to course start date
  • Course non refundable deposit of $200.00 USD payable by cash, check, credit card or PAYPAL is required to set a course date
  • Course balance of $1500.00 USD due on course start date

• Other information:
  • Course length is eight days
  • All equipment and tools will be provided for the course and practical test
  • As a minimum 20 repacks of back type parachutes are required to be completed prior to testing, you are not required to have any supervised repacks prior to the course
  • Areas of training, but not limited to, packing, inspection, sewing, knot tying, snaps and grommet setting, finger trapping, etc.

2. Additional Rating Courses

• An additional rating course is available for seat and/or chest certification
  • Course length is three days for one additional rating or five days for two additional ratings
  • All equipment and tools are provided
  • A minimum of 20 seat and/or chest repacks are required prior to testing
  • Training cost for one additional rating course is $400.00 USD or $600.00 USD for two additional ratings.

3. Master Parachute Rigger Course:

• Requirements:
  • Must have at least three years experience as a parachute rigger
  • Be certified in at least two type parachute systems, back, seat, chest or lap, and have at least 100 packs of each two of the four types listed.
  • Course non refundable deposit of $175.00 USA payable by cash, check, credit card or PAYPAL is required to set a course date
  • Course balance of $1025.00 USA due on course start date

  • Course length is five days
  • All equipment and tools are provided
  • Areas of training and testing include; major repairs of harnesses, containers, parachutes and their components
